Last weekend the EPT Malta festival came to an end, with Jean Montury winning in what would best be described as the “late early hours of Sunday morning”. But with the end of one festival thoughts turn naturally to the next, and the EPT Grand Final which starts at the end of this month.
Already there are satellites running for players looking for a discount trip to one of the biggest events of the poker years, and you can find them all on the PokerStars Client. But this weekend a new schedule of events begin, with satellites to the EPT Grand Final Women’s Event ready to get started.
The first is this Sunday at 14:00 ET, a $215 freezeout with a package worth €2,000 up for grabs. That includes entry into the Women’s Event (Event #28 of the festival) worth €220 on Saturday May 2, 2015, but also a couple of other things.
For the first time ever this package includes entry worth €330 into an event of the player’s choice from among the EPT side events.
So, that’ll buy you a seat in the FPS Monaco Cup Day 1C (Event #10) for example, or the No-Limit Turbo (Event #31) or the Win the Button (Event #41).
Alternatively they can give the Seniors or Juniors events (Event #35 and #36) a go, depending on age. If you do we’ll credit you back the €110 difference to your PokerStars account.
That’s not all of course. The package includes three night’s accommodation and breakfast at Le Meridien Beach Plaza, located right next to the venue, for yourself and a guest, checking in on May 1. And we know Monaco, while beautiful and not to be missed, presents challenges to the player on a budget, so we’ll give you €553 for expenses, which is all credited to your PokerStars account when you win your package.
While these satellites start this weekend that’s not all on the schedule for women playing on PokerStars. In addition there will be a weekly special feeder satellite for women only into our €700 Sunday EPT Grand Final satellite (buy-in and time to be confirmed). Then after the grand final we’ll reintroduce the previous EPT Women satellites, awarding €550 tickets, which can be used for any EPT Women’s event, usually split into a €220 buy-in and €330 cash.
Best of luck to everyone, and for details about the entire record breaking Grand Final festival go to the EPT website.
